The Law Office of Alison Holcomb, PLLC represents the accused in state and federal courts, defends clients' property against government forfeiture, expunges old criminal convictions, and restores lost civil rights such as the right to vote and the right to possess firearms.

As of April 17, 2006, we are no longer available to accept representation of new clients as Alison has joined the American Civil Liberties Union of Washington as its Drug Policy Director.

Alison's practice emphasizes defense of the rights and property of individuals accused of drug and economic offenses. She has represented hundreds of clients charged with crimes relating to "street" and pharmaceutical drugs, as well as clients charged with money laundering, embezzlement, tax fraud, mail and wire fraud, theft, and similar property crimes.

Born in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Alison was graduated from Stanford University with Honors in 1990. After college she relocated to Seattle to attend the University of Washington School of Law where she received an American Jurisprudence Award and clerked with the Washington State Attorney General and the criminal divisions of the King County Prosecuting Attorney and Seattle City Attorney's offices. She entered private practice in 1993. In 2003, she attended the National Criminal Defense College's Trial Practice Institute in Macon, Georgia. She is admitted to practice before all courts of the State of Washington, the United States District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Washington, and the United States Court of Appeal for the Ninth Circuit.
